CITY OF ANNA AGENDA NOTICE — CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING
August 7, 2012 6:30 PM — Anna City Hall Administration Building
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Special Session at 6:30 p.m., August 7,
2012, at the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North Powell
Parkway (Hwy 5), regarding the following items.
1. Call to Order.
Mayor Mike Crist called the meeting to order at 6.34 pm.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
Mayor Mike Crist and Council Members James T. Cook, John Hopewell, John
Geren and Nathan Bryan were present. Council Members Kevin Anderson and
Becky Glover were absent.
3. Discussion regarding Proposed 2012-2013 FY Budget.
City Manager, Philip Sanders presented the item to council. Jessica Perkins,
Assistant to the City Manager went over some changes to the EDC/CDC proposed
budgets.
4. Consider/Discuss/Action approving a Resolution regarding a Proposed Tax
Rate for Fiscal Year 2012-2013. (Clayton Fulton)
Clayton Fulton, Director of Finance presented the item to council and answered
questions. Council Member Hopewell made the motion to approve. Council
Member Bryan seconded the motion. Motion passes.

5. Consider/Discuss/Action approving a Resolution setting the date and time for
two Public Hearings on the proposed FY 2012-2013 Tax Rate. (Clayton
Fulton)
Clayton Fulton, Director of Finance presented the item to council. Council
Member Hopewell made the motion to approve. Council Member Geren seconded
the motion. Motion passes.

6. Adjourn.
Council Member Geren made the motion to adjourn at 6:45 pm. Council Member
Hopewell seconded the motion. Motion passes.
