A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING AN ANNA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PROJECT INVOLVING A
GROUND LEASE OF REAL PROPERTY AND CONDITIONAL OPTION TO
PURCHASE SAID PROPERTY
WHEREAS, on July 7, 2025, the Anna Community Development Corporation Board of
Directors (the "Board") held a duly noticed public meeting and found that a certain
Ground Lease Purchase Agreement and Performance Agreement between the CDC
and GTP Food Group, LLC for restaurants and entertainment on property in the Anna
Downtown District (the "Project") will promote new or expanded business development;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council agrees with said finding of the Board, supports the Project,
and desires to approve the Project without reservations; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City Council") has given
this resolution two separate readings in a duly noticed public meeting of the City
Council;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of Project
The City Council hereby approves and authorizes the Board and the Anna Community
Development Corporation to undertake the Project in accordance with applicable law.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 8tn
day of July 2025.
