REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Regular Session at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 9,
2002, at the Anna City Hall, located at 120 W. 4th Street, to consider the following items:
1. Call to Order and Roll Call
2. Citizen’s Participation.
3. Consider ordinance annexing East Fork Estates subdivision.
4. Consider appeal by Mr. Alvin Jenkins from decision of Planning & Zoning Commission
relating to eight-liner business at 117 S. Powell Parkway.
5. Consider approval of final plat for Meadow Ridge Subdivision.
6. Consider approval of ordinance amending the Planned Development for Tara Farms,
Phase 3.
7. Consider ordinance annexing property owned by Gilberto and Adabel Escamilla.
8. Consider ordinance permitting the location of a manufactured home on property owned
by Gilberto and Adabel Escamilla.
9. Consider authorization of securing bids/estimates for 2002 street reconstruction project.
10. Consider resolution adopting a local opportunity plan for services funded by the Texas
Department of Housing and Community Affairs grant guidelines.
11. Consider resolution appointing a Fair Housing/ Equal Opportunity Standards Officer for
the City of Anna as required by the Texas STEP Program.
12. Consider resolution relating to support for Fair Housing as required by the Texas STEP
Program.
13. Consider authorization of submission of 2003/2004 Texas Community Development
Program application.
14. Consider and take action on issuing Request for Proposals for professional
administrative services to submit an application and administer a 2003/2005 TCDP
grant, if funded.
15. Consider and take action on issuing Request for Proposals for professional engineering
services to submit an application and administer a 2003/2004 TCDP grant, if funded.
16. Consider ordinance relating to fees and policies for water deposits, water re-connects,
and water taps.
17. Consider ordinance adopting City Personnel Policies Manual.
18. Consider authorizing Mayor to notify Public Utility Commission that City seeks the
maximum available access line rate.
19. Consider approval of Minutes of Regular Meeting of the City Council, held on March 12,
2002.
20. Consider approval of Minutes of Special Meeting of the City Council, held on March 26,
2002.
21. Consider approval of Minutes of Emergency Meeting of the City Council, held on March
25, 2002.
22. Consider approval of bills to be paid.
23. Staff reports and items for discussion.
24. Adjourn.

AMENDMENTS TO PLANNED DEVELOPMENT
Side Yards:
Lots of less than 62’ width Minimum side yard of 5’
Lots of less than 64’ width Minimum side yard of 6’
Lots of less than 66’ width Minimum side yard of 7’
Year Yard
Lots of less that 118’ depth Minimum back yard of 20’

ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, AMENDING THE TARA
FARMS PLANNED DEVELOPMENT (PD #1) OF THE CITY OF ANNA BY
REVISING THE SETBACK REQUIREMENTS IN TARA FARMS SUBDIVISION,
PHASE 3; PROVIDING A REPEALER CLAUSE; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the owner of the property described as Tara Farms Subdivision, Phase 3, has
requested a revision of the setback requirements in Tara Farms Subdivision, Phase 3, in order
to accommodate the construction of larger homes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anna has given the requisite notices and afforded a full and fair hearing
to all property owners generally and to all persons interested in and situated in the affected area
and in the vicinity thereof;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS:
Section 1. The Tara Farms Planned Development (PD #1) should be amended as follows:
Side Yards:
Lots of less than 62’ width shall have a minimum side yard of five feet (5’).
Lots of less than 64’ width shall have a minimum side yard of six feet (6’).
Lots of less than 66’ width shall have a minimum side yard of seven feet (7’).
Year Yard
Lots of less that 118’ depth shall have a minimum back yard of twenty feet (20’).
Section 2. All ordinances of the City of Anna in conflict with the provisions of this PD Ordinance
are repealed to the extent of that conflict.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage and the
publication of the caption of said ordinance as the law in such case provides.
