CITY OF ANNA
Minutes of the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas held on
January 9, 1996 , at the City Hall Q the said city .
The City Council of the City ok Anna not in uegular session on
the 9th day of January 1..996 with the following menTers present
and participating : Mayor Ron Ferguson, Joe Murphy , Bob Estep ,
BenDY Milam, and Duane Hayes , Leonard Harlow was absent and not
voting .
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 33 P .M . by Mayor Ferguson.

Bradshaw and Son , Richard Davis with Tri-County Trucking , Charla
Fletcher with BFI , Johnny McBride, Ricky Dawes and ,toe Jaynes ,
Undrye i item #4 , bids for solid waste collection, motion was made
by Bob Estep to accept the lowest bid (using bags only) made by,
Tri-County Trucking . Motion died for lack of second . Motion was
then made by Bob Estep and seconded by Joe Murphy to survey the
public for use of bags or cans . (Carried 3/1 opposed)
Under item 45 , discuss and take action on water tap at sewer
plant , motion was made by. Duane Hayes and seconded by Joe Murphy.
authorizing Ricky Dawes to contact South Grayson Water Supply to
inquire about the tap that would be made in their line . ( Carr" ed

Under item 46 , sewer tap for Linda Crum, no official action was
taken ,
Under item #7 , replacement of city inspector , no official action
was taken ,
Under item 48 , motion was made by Duane Hayes and seconded by Joe
Murphy to acad oph ordinance no . 96-01 , an ordinance of the CiLy of
Anna , Texas amending ordinance no . 102-90 , municipal court ,

official action was taken.
Under item #10 , report krom City Secretary , no official action
was taken .
Under item 411 , motion was made by Bob EsLep and seconded by
Benny Milam to approve the minutes dated December 12 , 1995 as
submitted . (Carried 3/1 abstain )
After reviewing an accounts payable list for both the Water/Sew,r
and General Funds under item 412 , motion was made by Duane Hayms,
and seconded by Benny tar ilam to approve the bills as submitted ,
(Carried 4/0 )
Under item #13 , the City Council recessed into executive Sessior)
at 9 : 37 P .M .
The City Council re-convened into regulai session at 10 : 05 P .M.
No official action was taken ,
