Minutes of the City Council meeting of the City of Anna, Texas
held on April 9, 1996 , at the City Hall of the said city .
The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session on
the 9th day of April 1996 with the following members present and
participating: Mayor Ron Ferguson, Bob Estep, Benny Milam, and
Leonard Harlow. Joe Murphy and Duane Hayes were absent and not
voting.
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 45 P.M. by Mayor Ron
Ferguson.
Others present were Johnny McBride and Ricky Dawes .
Under item #4 , no action was taken due to the absence of Tommy
Cunningham.
Under item #5 , motion was made by Bob Estep and seconded by
Leonard Harlow to approve the local. records retention schedule
for utility services . (Carried 3/0 )
Under item #6 , report from Water Superintendent , no official
action was taken.
Under item #7 , report from City Secretary , no official action was
taken.
tinder item #8 , motion was made by Benny Milam and seconded by
Leonard Harlow to approve the minutes dated March 12 and March
25 , 1996 as submitted . (Carried 3/0)
After reviewing an accounts payable list for both the Water/Sewer
and General Funds under item #9, motion was made by Bob Estep and
seconded by Benny Milam to approve the bills as submitted.
(Carried 3/0)
Under item #10 , the City Council recessed into executive session
at 8 : 57 P .M.
The City Council re-convened into regular session at 9 : 55 P.M. ,
no official action was taken.
There oA—g no further business the Council adjourned at 9 - 55
P.M.

held on May 10 , 1996 , at the City Hall of the said city .
The City Council of the City of Anna met in special session orl
the 10th day of May 1996 , with the following members present and
participating : Mayor Ron Ferguson, Bob Estep , Duane Hayes and
Joe Murphy. Leonard Harlow and Benny Milam were absent and not
voting.
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 34 PsM. by Mayor Ferguson.
Under item 43 , after reviewing election results and completing
the summary of precinct returns motion was made by Bob Estep and
seconded by Joe Murphy to accept the election results , thus
canvassinq the 1996 election. (Carried 3/0 )
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 8 : 08
P .M.
