held on May 14 , 1996 , at the City Hall of the said City .
The City Council ok the City of Anna met in regular session on
the 14th day of May 1996 with the following members present and
participating : Mayor Ran Ferguson , Bob Es t: Duane Hayes , Joe
Murphy , Debbie McIntosh, and Lisa Copeland ,
The meeting was called to order at 7 : 35 P .M . by Mayor Ferguson .
Others present were Johnny McBride , Rodney Crawford, Benny Mi lam,
Ricky Dawes , Tommy Cunningham, Burl Cunningham, A. L . Geer , e.And
Joe Jaynes .
Under item #3 , citizen ' s participation, Ms , Casey Andrus inquired
about the proper procedures she would need to take in filing as
disturbing the peace complaint against teenaqers an the bank
parking lot that gather during the late night/early morning hours
on the weekends . No official action was taken, but Council did
incouraqe Ms . Andrus to continue calling the Collin County
Sheriff ' s Office with each and every occurrence.
Under item #4 , the Council met with Mr . Tommy Cunningham to
discuss the moving of as house . The Council examined Mr .
Cunningham' s plans and reminded him that application for a permit
must be made and the house would have to be up to Code . No
official action was taken .
Under item 45 , motion was made by Bob Estep and seconded by
Debbie McIntosh to pass a resolution adopting the population and
housing elements of the comprehensive plan; setting the official.
population count of the City ofAnna , Texas , at one thousand one
hundred thirty (1 , 130 ) ; declaring when the official population,
count is to be used ; and providing for governmental notification ,
(Carried 5/0 )
Under item #6 , motion was made by Bob Estep and seconded by Lisa
Copeland elect Duane Hayes as the Mayor Pro-Tem. (Carried 4/1-
abstain)
Under item #7 , report from Nater Superintendent , no official
action was taken .
Under item 08 , report from City Secretary , no official action was
taken .
Under item #9 , motion was made by Bob Estep and seconded by
Debbie McIntosh to approve the minutes dated April 9 , 1996 as
submitted . (Carried 5/0 )
After reviewing an accounts payable list for both the Water/Sewer
and General Funds under item #10 , motion was made by Duane Hayes
and seconded by Bob Estep to approve the bills as submitted .
(Carried 5/0 )
Under item 411 , motion was made by Duane Hayes and seconded by
Debbie McIntosh to recess into executive session at 9 : 05 P .M.
(Carried 5/0 )
Under item 412 , motion was made by Debbie McIntosh and seconded
by Joe Murphy to re-convene into regular session at 9 : 06 PM. No
ofticial action was taken.
There being no further business the Council adjourned at 9 : 10
