Anna City Hall
October 8, 1996,
The City Council of Anna met in regular session at Anna City Hall on Tuesday
October 8, 1996. This meeting was posted in accordance with the Texas Open
Meeting Law.
Mayor Ron Ferguson called the meeting to order at 7:30
Members, present were:
Ron Ferguson, Mayor
Dunne Hayes, Pro Tem
Debbie McIntosh
Lisa Copeland
Joe Murphy
Bob Estep
Citizens ton esent were: Johnny McBride,Ken Grifien,Debbie Griffen,Burl Cunningham,Tommy
Cunnhigham,Joe Smith,Dan Davis,Virginia Rhea,Marianne,Matt Nodrow,Pan Adams,Jerry
Chapman,Mark Chandler,Robert Lowlv,Brian Maughon.
Citizen's Participation. Debbie Griffen expressed her concerns of the proposed loration of the sewer
lines on her property,she stated that her preference for the proposed lines he located along the front
of the property.
Debbie made motion,and fossa seconded to-,approve the minutev from September 24,1996.
The council inet with Brian Maughon with Texas Waste Management regarding bulk pickup for tile
City of Anna. Bob made motion and Duane seconded 14)accept offer of bulk pickup on the third
Saiturday of each month. (carried 5/0)
Met with Jerry Chapman with Greater Texonia Utility Regarding a Development of a%,vater tvujjply
and sewer service contract. Bob made as motion lo accept the Resolution And Duane seconded
(carried 15/0)
Met with Mark Chandlerand Robert Lewis regarding roof esliniates both submitted bids. Debbie
made inotion to accepi Mark Chandler's bid with Bray Roofing and Joe seconded.(carried 5X0)
Met with Tommy avid Burl Cunningham regarding subdivision regulations for property located In
the city of. .nine. The cora df f;Lated that more Information was needed to make a decision. 'No action
taken.
Under Item 49, lnet with Pat Dillon regarding sewer easements. Debbie made motion and Joe
seconded to table until next mcialing. latae ac 'earn taken
Item#10,The city council did not convene into executive session,this item was tabled until next
ineeting. No action taken,
Item#11, tabled uirfil next incefing, No action taken.
Item#12, matters relating to tile 1995 TCDP grant were tabled until next meeting. No action taken
Under i9ein 913,no report from secretary. Joe made motionand Debbie seconded to inake
amendments to minutes from August 13,1996 to Include Resolution 96-0008.
Under Item 014 Lisa made motion and Debblesceonded to approve bills.(carrfed 510)
There being no further business Joe made tile motion and Debbie seconded-to adjourn the meeting
at 10-15 P.V,11,
