ANNA CITY HALT,
JULY 22, 1997
The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session
on the 22nd day of July 1997 with the following members
present and participating® Mayor, Dion Ferguson, Bob Estep,
Joe Murphy and Lisa Copeland. Duane Hayes and Debbie
McIntosh absent from this meeting.
Item #2
This meeting was called to order at 7:33 by Ron Ferguson.
Others present were Johnny McBride, T.J. Warren, Tommy
Cunningham and Burl Cunningham.
Item #3
Dion asked for any Citizen' s participation at this time.
Where was no response at this time.
Item #4
The City Council met with Tommy Cunningham to discuss and
take action as needed regarding Final Flat approval . The
Council asked. Tommy to revise the Final Flat according 'to the
Engineer' s requirements and present it at the next Council
Meeting.
Item #6
The Council cancelled Item #6, to meet with T.J. Warren 'to
discuss the current and previous policy and procedure used by
the City to cite non--conforming property owners related to
Demolition/Clean-up. To discuss lien removal. This item was
cancelled at T.J. Warren's request.

Bob Estep made a motion to de-annex the Virginia Rhea
property, Joe Murphy seconded. Motion carried 3/0/2. Duane
Hayes and Debbie McIntosh absent from this meeting.

Joe made a motion to annex the property of Richard Loftice
with the following stipulations: to pay for the 6 or 3 inch
water line to his property and to get all -the easements, Lisa
Copeland. seconded. Motion carried 3/0/2s Duane Hayes and
Debbie McIntosh absent from this meeting.
Item #3
Lisa Copeland made a motion to approve the Minutes dated July
8, 1997, doe Murphy seconded. Motion carried 3/0/2 . Duane
Hayes and Debbie McIntosh absent from this meeting.
Item #9
Lisa Copeland made a motion to patch all holes in the streets
and to fix Easton Street (between 6th and 7th) and Edwards
Street, Joe Murphy seconded. Motion carried 3/0/2. Duane
Hayes and Debbie McIntosh absent from this meeting.
Item #10
Lisa made a motion to join the North Central Texas Rural Rail
Transportation District in supporting the Tarantula
Corporation as the company to provide not only freight
service, but also area tourist train facilities between Plano
and Denison, Joe Murphy seconded. Motion carried 3/0/2 .
Duane Hayes and Debbie McIntosh absent from this meeting.

There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at
10: 15 p.m. .
