The City Council of the City of Anna met in Open Session on
the 2nd day of September with the following members present
and participating: Mayor, Ron Ferguson, Bob Estep, Debbie
McIntosh, Lisa Copeland, Joe Murphy and Duane Hayes.
Item #1
This meeting was called to order at 7:37 p.m. by Ron
Ferguson.
Others present were Johnny McBride.
Item #3
The City Council held discussion regarding the 97-98 Budget.
Debbie McIntosh made a motion to accept -the 97-98 Budget,
Lisa Copeland seconded. Motion carried 4/0/1, Bob Estep
opposed.
Item #4
The City Council held discussion regarding the proposed 1997
Tax Rate and the Public Hearing. Duane Hayes made a motion
to go forward with the roll back rate of 0.58118, Lisa
Copeland seconded. Motion carried 4/0/1, Bob Estep opposed.
Debbie McIntosh made a motion to set the Public Hearing for
September 15, 1997 at 7:30 p.m. , Lisa Copeland seconded.
Motion carried 4/0/1, Bob Estep opposed.

There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at
8:25 p.m. .
