ANNA CITY HALL
SEPTEMBER 9, 1997
The City Council of the City of Anna met in Regular Session on the 9th day of September 1,997 with the
following members present and participating: Mayor Ron Ferguson,Bob Estep,Debbie McIntosh,Lisa
Copeland,Joe Murphy and Duane Hayes.
Item#1
This meeting was called to order at 7:37 p.m. by Ron Ferguson.
Others present were Johnny McBride,David Crim and Ricky Dawes.
Item#3
Ron asked for any Citizen's participation at this time. David Crim stated that he spoke to the Central
Appraisal District regarding the 1997 taxes and was told that he wouldn't have to pay city taxes for the 97
year. The Council asked Marie Evans, City Secretary to check on this.
Item#4
The City Council met with Ricky Dawes,Water Superintendent for his monthly report. Ricky presented
quotes regarding future Water rank repairs.
Item#5
Lisa Copeland made a motion to approve the bills,Debbie McIntosh seconded. Motion carried 5/0/0.
Item#6
Duane Hayes made a motion to approve the Minutes for August 26, 1997 and September 2, 1997,Debbie
McIntosh seconded, Motion carried 5/0/0,
Item#7
The City Council met with Marie Evans,City Secretary for the monthly report.
Item#8
Bob Estep made a motion to nominate Mr. Anthony Geer as a Candidate for the Central Appraisal District
Board of Directors,Joe Murphy seconded. Motion carried 5/0/0.
Item#9
Duane Hayes made a motion to increase the out-of-city Water and Sewer Service to, 2 times the rate, Lisa
Copeland seconded. Motion carried 5/0/0.

There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at 8:11 p.m..
