ANNA CITY HALL
NOVEMBER 18, 1997
The City Council of the City of Anna met in regular session on die 18di day of November with
the following members present and participating: Mayor Pro Tem,Duane Hayes, Bob Estep,
Debbie McIntosh and Joe Murphy. Lisa Copeland and Mayor, Ron Ferguson absent from this
meeting.
Item#I
This meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.rn. by Duane Hayes.
Item#3
Duane Hayes asked for any Citizen's participation at this time. Debbie McIntosh stated that she
spoke with Joe Jaynes regarding the ditches on Hwy. 5 and that they would try to get to it in about
45 days.
Item#4
The City Council was to meet with Judge David Moore to seek support in the position for retiring
Judge Glen Swaner. This item was tabled because of the abscence of Judge David Moore.
Item#5
The City Council tabled this item, to discuss and take action as needed regarding the surveys
completed for Riggins Street until the next meeting.
Item#6
The City Council met with Casey Patterson to discuss and take action as needed regarding the
closure of N. Riggins past the 900 block of Anthony Street. Mr. Patterson asked that the road be
closed. He also presented a petition signed by several of the home owners on Riggins Street. Bob
Estep stated that the previous home owners wanted to give the road to the City and that is why all
the surveys were done. The Council held discussion on this matter and tabled this until the next
meeting.

The City Council met with Joe Greer to discuss and take action as needed regarding the
Restoration Project at 507 N. Riggins Street, The Council asked Joe Greer to meet with the
Planning and Zoning Board.

Debbie McIntosh made a motion to cancel the 2nd meeting of November and December, Joe
Murphy seconded. Motion carried 3/0/1. Lisa Copeland absent fi-orn this meeting.
Item#9
Debbie McIntosh made a motion to approve the minutes for October 28, 1997,Bob Estep
seconded. Motion carried 3/0/1. Lisa Copeland absent from this meeting.
Item#10
The City Council met with Ricky Dawes, Water Superintendent for the monthly report. There
was no action to take on this item.
Item#11
Joe Murphy made a motion to approve the bills, Debbie McIntosh seconded. Motion carried
3/0/1. Lisa Copeland absent from this meeting.
Item#12
The City Council tabled the Executive Session until the next meeting.
Item#13
The City Council tabled until the next meeting.
Item#14
There being no further business this meeting was adjourned at 8:45 p.m..
