JOINT CITY COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF ANNA
INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT MEETING
June 7, 2011 7:00 P.M.
Anna City Hall Administration Building
111 N. Powell Pkwy., Anna, Texas
The City Council of the City of Anna and the Board of Trustees of Anna ISD will meet in
Special Workshop Session at, Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at 7:00 p. m at the City Hall
Administration Building, 111 N. Powell Pkwy., Anna, Texas 75409 to consider the
following items.
The City Council and the Board of Trustees will tour the new high school facility at 6:00
pm and will have dinner at 6:45 pm in the Anna City Hall Administration Bldg. City
Council Meeting Room.
1. Call to Order.
2. Invocation.
3. Workshop: The following items/issues will be discussed. No action will be taken
on any item. Discussion at the meeting may be restricted to City Council
members and the Board of Trustees of Anna ISD.
a. Discussion of joint facilities use agreements.
b. Discussion of the census results and new demographic information.
c. Status report on capital improvements.
d. Status report on TEA accountability ratings (School).
e. Discussion of joint communication/marketing efforts.
1. The Council may vote and/or act upon each of the items listed in this agenda.
2. The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda, whenever it is
considered necessary and legally justified under the Open Meeting Act.
3. Persons with a disability who want to attend this meeting who may need assistance should contact the City Secretary at 972 924-
3325 two working days prior to the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
