RESOLUTION NO. 2026-09-1952
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, APPROVING
EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT WITH COLLIN COUNTY FOR
ANIMAL CONTROL SERVICES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas ("City Council") finds that the
agreement with Collin County for rendering Animal Services to the citizens of Anna is
worthy of continuation; and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves Collin County's amendment to the current Animal
Services agreement, to include the following fee:
"The total amount for fiscal year 2027: $89,634.00"
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes as set forth
in full.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of Agreement.
The City Council hereby approves the extension attached hereto as Exhibit 1 to extend
the agreement with Collin County for rendering Animal Services, ratifies and approves
the City Manager's execution of the same. The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute all documents and to take all other actions necessary to finalize and enforce the
animal services agreement with Collin County.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS,
ON THIS 22ND DAY OF SEPTEMBER 2026.
