RE: Revised Letter of Proposal for Engineering Sendces
Collin Ptunp Station Expansion
Dear Mr. Smith:
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to suUmit an engineering proposal relating to the development
of additional groundwater supplies for the City of Anna. Having visited the site on Wednesday,
November 6, 2019, it is readily apparent that the rapid growth within the Anna service area will require
water supply, pressure maintenance, and distribution system improvements in order to provide for
continuous and adequate service.
It is my understanding that the City of Arora has contracted with Kirnley-Hone Engineers to develop a
hydraulic water model and provide for an updated water plan. As a part of that effort, it is anticipated that
Kirnley-Horn will make recommendations to Alma relative to pressure maintenance and distribution
system improvements.
By letter dated November 13, 2019, we
submitted a letter of proposal to you for the design and
development of five (5) additional wells. However, atter due consideration, the City has requested that
we revise our proposal for the design and development of two (2) additional wells.
As requested, this proposal only includes Well No. 10 &Well No. 11 (Collin Pump Station Expansion)
to
be designed a11d developed at the existing pump station site located near the intersection of Highway 5
and the Collin County Outer Loop. (See Attached). Well No. 10 would be designed to produce from the
Woodbine Formation and Well No. 11 would be designed to produce from the Twin Mountains
