SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
August 15, 2006 7:00 PM

The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Special Session at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday,
August 15, 2006, at the Community Room, Texas Star Bank, located at 402 W. White
Street (FM 455), to consider the following items.
1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
3. Discussion/Action regarding a presentation on a Public Improvement District
i (PID) to support development of Anna Ranch, including request for direction from
council regarding negotiations with developer (Andante Development).
4. CLOSED SESSION: Under Tex. Govt Code Chapter 551, the City Council may
enter into closed session to:
a. discuss or deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease, or value of real
property (Tex. Gov't Code §551.072);
b. consult with legal counsel on matters in which the duly of the attorney to
the governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of
Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with
Chapter 551 of the Government Code. (Tex. Gov't Code §551.071).
The council reserves the right to enter into executive session at any time
throughout this meeting under any applicable exception to the Open Meetings
Act.
5. Discussion of the Budget for the Fiscal Year 20062007.
6. Discussion/Action on tax rate options and public hearing requirements.
7. Adjourn.
