ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Monday,Jan 19,2010
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday,Jan 19,at 7:00 p.m.in the
Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration Building,located at 111 North Powell
Parkway (Hwy 5),to consider the following items.
-1.Call to order at 7:07 pm and establishment of quorum.Park Board members present were Erin
Coger,Michael Watkins and Rachel Lyon.Maurice Schwanke was also present.
2.There were no citizen's comments.
3.Discussions
Adult Baseball League -We agreed to have double bases.The women will play with 11"balls
and men with 12"balls.We will add the wording "slow pitch co-ed"for clarification.Clark
McCoy will do a disclaimer/waiver.We will check on prices of t-shirts versus trophies for
awards.We agreed that there would be one price per team no matter how many teams.The
team logos must be approved.
Advertising considered included:newsletter,tweets,Brookshire's,signs on street,Newspaper.
Rules and Waivers are on-line and we will have links to other rules.
Erin is the commissioner and will do the press release.
Adopt a trail -We agreed to divide up the trail in 1000ft sections for both Natural Springs and
Slayter Creek
Community Garden -there is land designated for a community garden but we will wait till next
year to develop it.
4.Erin made a motion to approve the minutes of November 16,2009 and December 21,2009.
Michael seconded it.Motion passed.
5.Erin made a motion to adjourn the meeting.Michael seconded it.Motion passed.
