ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Monday,August 16,2010
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday,August 16,at 7:00 p.m.
in the Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration Building,located at 111 North
Powell Parkway (Hwy 5),to consider the following items.
1.Call to order at 7:00 pm and establishment of quorum.Park Board members present were
Erin Coger,Kelly Bailey,Michael Watkins and Rachel Lyon.Maurice Schwanke and Becky
Glover were also present.
2.Maurice Schwanke submitted two applications for grants.
Outdoor project -This grant can be applied for every six months.
Indoor project -This grant may be applied for once a year.We will know if we get it in
January.
3.Fall Softball -We need to establish times for make-up games.We think it best to set aside
two weeks at the end of the season for make-up games and dump games if necessary.We
want to change the Mercy Rule.We want it to say:If the game is called,both teams must
agree to continue playing,within limits,without an umpire.We want stricter registration
dates.The money and the line up must be in before registration is complete.Uniforms must
be like colors with numbers.The prizes will be t-shirts.We will take orders for sizes and they
will be delivered in two weeks.
4.Erin Cogar made a motion to accept the minutes of July 19,2010.Michael Watkins
seconded.The motion carried.
5.Erin Cogar made a motion to adjourn.Rachel
adjourned at 7:39pm.
