ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
Monday, February 17, 2011
The Park Board of the City of Anna held a regular meeting on Monday, February 17 2011, at
7:00 p.m. in the Community Room of the Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at
111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. The Meeting was Called to order at 7:31 pm and establishment of quorum. Park Board
members present were Kelly Bailey, Jon Hendrix, Erin Coger and Rachel Lyon. Maurice
Schwanke was also present.
2. A discussion of a Concession Building Utilization Agreement was held with Connie Elliot
and Pete Cain (members of the Anna Athletic Booster Club) to discuss the possibility of
them assuming responsibility for concessions. They will not assume responsibility for the
concessions for a year at a time. In the meantime the Parks Board will continue discussions
on how to handle concessions. We plan to 1) research how other towns do it. 2) learn more
about biding it out, 3) find out if it would be better to do it ourselves or bid it out.
3. Park Board Minutes — Jan 18, 2011. Erin Coger made a motion to accept the minutes of
January 18, 2011. Rachel Lyon made a motion to second. The motion carried.
4. Adjourn —Jon Hendrix made a motion to adjourn. Rachel Lyon seconded. Motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:58 p.m.
