ANNA PARK BOARD
REGULAR MEETING
April 18, 2016
The Park Board of the City of Anna held its regular meeting on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 7:00
p.m. at the Community Room of Anna City Hall Administration Building, located at 111 North
Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items.
1. Call to order and establishment of quorum.
Meeting called to order at 7:01 p.m. Members present were Erin Cogar, Ginny Finan, Stan
Carver, Rene Martinez and Jon Hendricks. Staff present was Maurice Schwanke and Matt
Lewis.
2. Review Potential Park Grant Opportunities
a. Collin County
b. Texas Parks and Wildlife
Mr. Schwanke gave a presentation and discussed potential park grant opportunities.
No action taken.
3. Splash Pad work
Mr. Schwanke discussed potential work to be performed regarding the splash pad.
No action taken.
4. Natural Springs Park Barn work
Mr. Schwanke discussed potential work to be performed regarding the park barn at Natural
Springs Park.
S. Approve Park Board Minutes
• March 21, 2016
A motion was made by Rene Martinez, seconded by Stan Carver to approve Minutes of the
March 21, 2016 meeting. The motion carried.
6. Adjourn
There being no other business, a motion was made by Stan Carver, seconded by Jon
Hendricks to adjourn meeting. The meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.
