A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS,
ACCEPTING AND ADOPTING THE BASE PLAN STUDIES, PARKS PLAN, FUTURE
LAND USE PLAN, AND THOROUGHFARE PLAN; OFFICIALLY DESIGNATING
THESE ELEMENTS AS PART OF THE CITY OF ANNA'S COMPREHENSIVE
MASTER PLAN, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR PAYMENT TO THE CITY'S
PLANNING CONSULTANT FOR THE ELEMENTS COMPLETED.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna desires to develop a viable urban community, including
decent housing and a suitable living environment and expanding economic opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the City has commissioned a Planning Consultant to study, conduct, and complete relevant
planning elements for inclusion into a Master Plan for the City of Anna; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and in the best interests of the City of Anna to accept and adopt the
completed elements as official documents of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS:
1. That the BASE PLAN STUDIES are accepted and adopted as the official BASE PLAN
STUDIES of the City;
2. That the PARKS PLAN is accepted and adopted as the official PARKS PLAN of the
City;
3. That the FUTURE LAND USE PLAN is accepted and adopted as the official FUTURE
LAND USE PLAN of the City;
4. That the THOROUGHFARE PLAN is accepted and adopted as the official
THOROUGHFARE PLAN of the City; and
5. That the City of Anna appropriates $5,040.00 in local funds and $7,500.00 in TCDP
Grant funds in payment of the completed elements
