WHEREAS, the Municipal Complex Construction Project is listed as a capital improvement project in the City of Anna's Capital Improvement Plan; and, WHEREAS, the proposed materials testing is required for the construction of the Municipal Complex and to ensure proper subgrade and foundation construction for the proposed pavement and buildings; and, WHEREAS, Municipal Bond Funds shall be used to fund the task order in an amount not to exceed $102,482.50. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS THAT: Section 1. Recitals Incorporated The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes. Section 2. Authorization of Contracts and Funding. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a task order with Alliance Geotechnical Group in a form approved by the City Attorney and fund F using Municipal Bond Funds in an amount not to exceed $102,482.50. Overtime rates of 1.5 times the regular hourly rate will be charged for hours worked over eight (8) hours per day Monday thru Friday or any time before 7:00 a.m. or after 5:00 p.m. Service performed on Saturdays and Sundays will be billed at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate.
