A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
AUTHORIZING CLAYTON FULTON, CITY OF ANNA FINANCE DIRECTOR, TO
OPEN AND REVIEW THE EDC'S MAIL, TO WRITE PURCHASE ORDERS FOR
PAYMENT TO EDC VENDORS, AND TO OTHERWISE ASSIST WITH
OPERATIONAL FUNCTIONS OF THE EDC, WHILE THE CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE
OFFICER, JESSICA PERKINS, IS ON MATERNITY LEAVE
WHEREAS, the Anna Economic Development Corporation (the "EDC") desires to
authorize Clayton Fulton, City of Anna Finance Director, to open and review the EDC's
mail, to write purchase orders for payment to EDC vendors, and to otherwise assist with
operational functions of the EDC, while the Chief Administrative Officer, Jessica
Perkins, is on maternity leave; and
WHEREAS, the EDC has determined that this authorization is in the best interests of
the EDC's finances and operations;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Authorization to Act
The EDC hereby authorizes Clayton Fulton, City of Anna Finance Director, to open and
review the EDC's mail, to write purchase orders for payment to EDC vendors, and to
otherwise assist with operational functions of the EDC, while the Chief Administrative
Officer, Jessica Perkins, is on maternity leave. This authorization extends to fulfilling all
necessary duties conferred upon the EDC's Chief Administrative Officer by the EDC
bylaws or as otherwise authorized by the EDC. This authorization shall expire when the
Chief Administrative Officer returns from maternity leave and resumes her duties or
when the EDC resolves to terminate this authorization, whichever occurs first.
