A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR GRANT ASSISTANCE UNDER THE
RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE RURAL HOUSING SERVICE, A
DEPARTMENT OF THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
WHEREAS, the Anna Economic Development Corporation (the "EDC"), deems it
necessary and proper to apply for grant assistance under the Rules and Regulations of
the Rural Housing Service, a department of the United States Department of
Agriculture, for the purpose of applying for and accepting a Rural Business Enterprise
Grant in the amount of $300,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Authorization of Application for Grant Assistance.
Jessica Perkins, Chief Administrative Officer, shall serve as the Signatory Agent of the
EDC and said Agent or the successor of said Agent, is hereby authorized and directed
to make application for grant assistance under the Rules and Regulations of Rural
Housing Service, a department of the United States Department of Agriculture; and to
sign the acceptance of the grant assistance, when made, and any other documents
required to complete the grant and related procedures, on behalf of the EDC.
