HomeMy WebLinkAboutEDCRes2011.08.02ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION RESOLUTION NO. 2-611-OT--02-CE0c) A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATIONS TO PURCHASE AND FINANCE REAL PROPERTY WHEREAS, the Anna Economic Development Corporation (the "EDC") may purchase certain property described in further detail below to be used for economic development purposes; and WHEREAS, the EDC has determined that exploring the purchase of said property is in the financial interests of the EDC and the EDC desires to authorize negotiations for the purchase and financing of said property, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, THAT: Section 1. Recitals Incorporated The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full. Section 2. Authority to Negotiate Proposed Terms of Purchase and Financing Agreement The Board of Directors of the EDC ("the Board") hereby authorizes the Chief Administrative Officer ("CAO") to negotiate, on the EDC's behalf, the proposed terms of a purchase and finance agreement between the EDC and the owner of property located at 312 North Powell Parkway. The CAO is directed to report back to the Board with respect to said proposed purchase and finance agreement for the Board's consideration.
