RESOLUTION NO. 011-oy-01 (COC-)
A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA COMMUNITY DEVLEOPMENT CORPORATION
SUPPORTING HOUSE BILL 3302 THAT IF PASSED WOULD ALLOW A TYPE A
CORPORATION IN A CITY UNDER 7,500 THAT ALSO HAS A TYPE B
CORPORATION, TO POOL THEIR RESOURCES FOR PROJECTS AND
ENDORSING AN INCREASE IN THE MAXIMUM POPULATION COUNT TO
10,000
WHEREAS, the Anna Community Development Corporation ("CDC") intends to submit
a letter of support to request that the population limit in HB 3302 increase to 101000;
and
WHEREAS, the CDC has determined that it is in the best interest of the citizens,
businesses, and future businesses of the City of Anna to publicly support HB 3302.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA COMMUNITY
DEVLEOPMENT CORPORATION, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Authority to Submit Letter of Support
The CDC hereby authorizes the submission of the letter of support for HB 3302 with a
request to increase the maximum population count to 101000.
