A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GREATER ANNA CHAMBER OF
COMMERCE, INCORPORATED, REGARDING ITS PRODUCTION OF A FOURTH-
OF-JULY FIREWORKS DISPLAY; AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Anna Community Development Corporation (the "CDC") wishes to
expend funds in support of a Fourth -of -July fireworks display to be provided by the
Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce, Incorporated (the "GACC") on July 4, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the CDC intends that said funds be used by the GACC solely for the
purchase of fireworks and insurance coverage to be used for a fireworks display to be
held inside the City of Anna's corporate limits and that the fireworks display be open to
the public without any charge, and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Approval of Agreement
The CDC hereby approves the Agreement, attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, incorporated
herein for all purposes, and authorizes the CDC President to execute same on its
behalf.
Section 3. Approval of Funding
The CDC hereby authorizes the Chief Administrative Officer to charge the CDC's
promotional account in the amount of $3000 for fireworks and $524.55 for insurance to
fund this expenditure.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Anna Community Development Corporation this
