A RESOLUTION OF THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF ANNA TO
PROCURE CONSULTING SERVICES TO PREPARE A RESONSE TO GOOGLE'S
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION FOR AN EXPERIEMENTAL FIBER OPTIC
COMMUNICATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Anna Economic Development Corporation (the "EDC") desires to
authorize the expenditure of funds up to $5,000 to procure consulting services to
prepare a response to Google's request for information for an experimental fiber optic
communication project; and
WHEREAS, the EDC has determined that this expenditure of funds is in the best
interests of the EDC and will promote economic development in the City of Anna;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Authority to Expend Funds for Consulting Services
The Anna Economic Development Corporation authorizes the expenditure of funds not
to exceed $5,000 for the City of Anna to procure consulting services to prepare a
response to Google's request for information for an experimental fiber optic
communication project including the authority to execute all necessary documents to
consummate the business relationship.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the Anna Economic Development Corporation this
