HomeMy WebLinkAboutEDCagd2003-05-31Page 1 of 2 CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING The City Council of the City of Anna will meet in Special Session at 8:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2003, at the Hurricane Creek Country Club Dining Room, located at 1800 Fairway Lane, Anna, Texas. The following items will be considered: 1. Call to Order. 2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum. 3. Consider action on resolution setting date, time, and place for public hearings on annexation of a 98.17 acre tract in the W. S. Rattan Survey, Abstract No. 752, and the Thomas Rattan Survey, Abstract No. 782, owner being I. K. Kim, located at the northeast corner of S. Central Expressway and W. White Street (excluding 10 acres in Driver’s Truck Stop tract). 4. Consider action on appointment of Fire Marshal. 5. Consider actions relating to construction and regulation of an off-site freestanding sign located or to be located at 1593 FM 455 (Roper’s Wrecker Service). 6. Discuss consulting engineering services. 7. Discuss legal counsel services. 8. Discuss City personnel and staffing issues. 9. Discuss zoning ordinance issues. 10. Discuss subdivision ordinance issues. 11. Project status reports: a. WWTP b. Slayter Creek sewer trunk line c. Throckmorton Creek sewer trunk line d. Water well, ground storage, pump station, trunk line e. North Sherley Street (FM 2862) relief line f. FM 2862/CR 425 connection line g. Purchase of South Grayson WSC line along West White Street (between Slayter Creek and Central Expressway) h. Surface water supply project i. North Collin WSC agreement (with Anna, Melissa, and McKinney) Page 2 of 2 j. Eastern boundary issues k. Wastewater discharge permit for Hurricane Creek drainage basin l. Impact fees 12. Discussion of issues relating to off-premises sale of beer, wine, and alcoholic beverages. 13. Joint meeting with Anna ISD Board of Trustees, City of Anna Planning and Zoning Commission, Anna Park Board, and Anna Community Development Corporation to discuss issues of interest, including: a.
