MEETING OF ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
JANUARY 6, 2005 6:00 PM
ANNA CITY HALL, 101 N. POWELL PARKWAY, ANNA, TEXAS
The Economic Development Corporation of the City of Anna will meet at 6:00 p.m.,
Thursday, January 6, 2005, at the Anna City Hall, 101 N. Powell Parkway, to consider
the following items:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum
3. Citizen Input/Comments
The EDC welcomes the input and suggestions of the citizens of Anna and its
environs. Anyone wishing to address the EDC on relevant matters may do so at
this time. Please limit comments to 5-10 minutes.
4. Consider action as desired regarding approval of minutes from August 5, 2004,
December 2, 2004, and December 7, 2004.
5. Presentation/discussion with Mr. Bob Carr and action as desired regarding Carr
proposal(s).
6. Discuss and take action on the land purchased by EDC relative to:
Development plans
Naming
Annexation, zoning, and other entitlement issues
7. Discuss and take action on advertising signage.
8. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas Government
Code the board may enter into CLOSED SESSION or Executive Session to
deliberate regarding commercial or financial information that the governmental
body has received from a business prospect that the governmental body seeks

b. Agree on outline/sample to be used as our baseline
c. Discuss "Vision for the local Economy"
d. Review, edit and consider for adoption the mission statement proposed by
Molly Young
e. Work on Plan
