OF ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
DECEMBER 6, 2007 6:30 P.M.
ANNA CITY HALL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING,
111 N. POWELL PKWY., ANNA, TEXAS
The Economic Development Corporation of the City of Anna will conduct its
regular meeting at 6:30 p.m., NOTE THE TIME Thursday, December 6, 2007, at
the Anna City Hall Administration Building, 111 N. Powell Parkway, to consider
the following items:
1. Call to Order and Establishment of Quorum.
2. Citizen comment.
3. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding a presentation from Mr. Assad
about a project he is working on bringing to Anna.
4. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding Plano Super Bowl.
5. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding Anna Business Park Rail Project.
(Rail America to be present).
6. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding a report from the President of the
Anna Chamber of Commerce on their vision for the City and an update
on the maps.
7. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding a report (up date) from Member
Lonnie Friesen regarding the Development of an Anna Master Plan.
8. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding update on Business Contacts for a
year end report to City Council.
9. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding the formation of joint work
committees for the Anna Master Plan.

10. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding a report for the rules on High
School Model.
11. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding reviewing the Anna Economic
Development Corporation By-Laws.
12. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding purchasing promotional items such
as Informational CD about the City, key to the City, brochures, model
board, maps, etc.
13. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding a Presentation to bring a hotel to
Anna.
14. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Under terms of Chapter 551 of Texas
Government Code the board may enter into CLOSED SESSION or
Executive Session to deliberate regarding commercial or financial
information that the governmental body has received from a business
prospect that the governmental body seeks to have locate, stay, or
expand in or near the territory of the governmental body and with
which the governmental body is conducting economic development
negotiations or to deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of
real property because such deliberations in an open meeting would
have a detrimental effect on the board’s position in negotiations with
third persons (Government Code, Chapters 551.072, 551.087).

15. Discuss and take action as desired on items discussed in Executive
Session.
16. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding amending the Anna EDC 2008
budget.
17. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding approval of Minutes of meeting(s)
of November 1, 2007 and November 8, 2007.
18. Consider approval of financial report and payment of bills.
19. Discussion/Action regarding future agenda items.
