MINUTES OF
SPECIAL WORKSHOP MEETING
OF ANNA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
OCTOBER 11, 2007 6:00 P.M.
ANNA CITY HALL ADMINISTRATION BUILDING,
111 N. POWELL PKWY., ANNA, TEXAS
The Economic Development Corporation of the City of Anna conducted its
Special Workshop meeting at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 11, 2007, at the
Anna City Hall Administration Building, 111 N. Powell Parkway, to consider the
following items:
1. Call to Order and Establishment of Quorum.
President Richard Pennington called the meeting to order at 6:02 p.m.
Member Richard Pennington, Lonnie Friesen, Alexander Hamilton, Dr.
Charles Vance were present. Member Jeremy Hersom was absent.
2. Citizen comment.
None
3. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding preparation of Presentations,
materials and items necessary for the Economic Summit hosted
by the EDC on October 13, 2007.
Members practiced a run through of the opening, presentations of
topics, introductions of guest speakers and conclusion for the summit.
Members discussed doing a written report of the summit and present it
to the council.
4. Consider/Discuss/Action regarding designing of a brochure for
the City of Anna and posting it on the web.
Members were supposed to have some ideas for a brochure.
Alexander Hamilton had an example he shared with members and
discussion of his example took place.

5. Discussion/Action regarding future agenda items.
Alexander Hamilton wanted Item 4 added to the next agenda.
6. Adjourn.
Alexander Hamilton made the motion to adjourn at 6:52 p.m. Lonnie
Friesen seconded the motion. Motion passes all.
