ANNA PARKS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
Monday, August 16, 2021 @ 6:00 PM
The Parks Board of the City of Anna will meet at 6:00 PM, on August 16, 2021, at the Anna
City Hall, Located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items
below.
1.Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum.
2.Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
3.Neighbor Input:
At this time, any person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item on
this meeting agenda that is not scheduled for public hearing. Also, at this time any
person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item that is not on this
meeting agenda. Each person will be allowed up to 3 minutes to speak. No discussion
or action may be taken at this meeting on items not listed on this agenda, other than to
make statements of specific information in response to a citizen’s inquiry or to recite
existing policy in response to the inquiry.
4.Receive a Report
a.Introduce new Neighborhood Services Coordinator Olivia Demings. (Recreation
Manager Jeff Freeth)
b.Receive a report on Neighborhood Life programming. (Neighborhood Services
Coordinator Olivia Demings)
c.Receive a report on Recreation programming. (Recreation Manager Jeff Freeth)
5.Project Update.
a.Receive a status update on Johnson Park Enhancement Project. (Parks
Superintendent Matt Lewis)
b.Receive an update on Parks Capital Projects. (Park Planning and Development
Manager Dalan Walker)
6.Individual Consideration
a.Discuss, Consider and Act on Parks Advisory Board meeting minutes on July
19, 2021.
b.Discuss, Consider and Act on the proposed Special Event Permit submitted by
Elden Baker . (Recreation Manager Jeff Freeth)
c.Discuss, Consider and Act on the proposed Special Event Permit submitted by
Pam Carroll . (Recreation Manager Jeff Freeth)
7.Adjourn.
