AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORIES TO THE
CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS: PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF THIS ORDINANCE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF:
WHEREAS, the growth and development of the areaa adjacent to the City
of Anna is progressing at a tap4a rate and this deve iopment is expected
to cont.nue in the futu,e; and
WHEREAS, the protection of the public health and general welfare of
the people of the C;ty of Anna requires. that such development be in an or-
derly manner and controlled by the Ci Ly of Anna; and
WHEREAS,

WHEREAS, the tern'tory lies, adjacent• to and adjoins the City of Anna,
Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS:
SECTION l.. The following described land and territories lying adjacent
to and adjoining the City of Anna, Texas is hereby added and annexed to the
City of Anna, Texas, to -wit: z /- V

SECTION 2, The above described land and territory lying adjacent to
and adjoining the City of Anna, Texas, and said territory above described
sha'il hereafter be included within the boundary limits of the City of
Anna, Texas, and the present boundary limits of such city, at the various
points contiguous to the areas above described, are altered and amended
so as to include said area within the corporate limits of the City of
Anna, Texas.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its adoption after one (1) reading and upon•�being approved by the
Mayor, as the law in such cases provides.
DULY PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas,
