MINUTES
ANNA PARKS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
June 21, 2021
The Parks Board of the City of Anna met at 6:00 PM, on June 21, Z021, at the Anna City Hall, located at
111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following items:
1. Call to Order, Roll Call and Establishment of Quorum
a. The meeting was called to order at 6:00pm. Members present were Elden Baker, Joe
Crowder, Michelle Clemens, Eirik Hansen, LeQuey Douglas, Mackenzie Jenks and
Jonathon Schwyzer. Staff present included Marc Marchand, Jeff Freeth and Matt Lewis.
2. Park Minutes
a. May 24, 2021
A motion was made by Eirik Hansen, seconded by LeQuey Douglas, to approve the Minutes of
the May 24th meeting. Motion carried.
3. Staff presented a report on summer recreation programming.
4. Staff presented an update on the Parks Capital Plan.
5. Staff presented a status update on the Johnson Park Enhancement Project.
6. Staff discussed ballfield reservations and field access at Slayter Creek Park.
Motion to recommend that fields 1 and 4 stay locked and fields 2 and 3 be open until the
completion of the Johnson Park Enhancement with a recommended review in 4 to 6 weeks
made by Elden Baker, seconded by LeQuey Douglas. 5-2-0, motion carried, Michelle Clemens
and Eirik Hansen opposed.
7. Adjourn
