ANNA PARKS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING
Monday, January 24, 2022 @ 6:00 PM
The Parks Board of the City of Anna will meet at 6:00 PM, on January 24, 2022, at the
Anna City Hall, Located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the following
items below.
1.Call to Order, Roll Call, and Establishment of Quorum.
2.Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
3.Neighbor Input:
At this time, any person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item on
this meeting agenda that is not scheduled for public hearing. Also, at this time any
person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item that is not on this
meeting agenda. Each person will be allowed up to 3 minutes to speak. No discussion
or action may be taken at this meeting on items not listed on this agenda, other than to
make statements of specific information in response to a citizen’s inquiry or to recite
existing policy in response to the inquiry.
4.Receive a Report
a.Receive a report on Neighborhood Life programming. (Neighborhood Services
Coordinator Olivia Demings)
b.Receive a report on recreation programming and events. (Recreation Manager
Jeff Freeth)
c.Receive a report and discuss Slayter Creek Park's future capital
improvement options. (Park Planning and Development Manager Dalan
Walker)
d.Receive a report and discuss Johnson Park next phase enhancement
options. (Park Planning and Development Manager Dalan Walker)
5.Project Update.
a.Receive an update on the Slayter Creek Park Splash Pad Project. (Parks
Superintendent Matt Lewis)
b.Receive an update on the Slayter Creek Park Disc Golf Project. (Parks
Superintendent Matt Lewis)
c.Receive an update on the Library Project. (Neighborhood Services Director
Marc Marchand)
6.Individual Consideration
a.Discuss, Consider and Act on Yank Park basketball court.
b.Discuss, Consider and Act on Parks Advisory Board meeting minutes on December
20, 2021.
