RESOLUTION NO. 2007-02-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, ADOPTING REVISIONS TO THE
CITY OF ANNA PERSONNEL POLICY MANUAL AND DIRECTING THAT SAID
REVISIONS BE PROVIDED TO EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Sections 10.02 and 12.01 of the City of Anna
Personnel Policy Manual is in need of revision.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:

Section 12.01 of the City of Anna Personnel Policy Manual is revised to replace the following
description of the type of action of an employee that may result in disciplinary action:
"Discuss, disclose or reference the amount or extent of any employee's wages, salary, benefits
or other terms or conditions of employment, with the exception of communications solely
between an employee and that employee's department head."
Said description is hereby replaced with the following
"Discuss, disclose or reference the amount or extent of any employee's wages, salary, benefits
or other terms or conditions of employment, with the exception of communications between: (1)
an employee and that employee's department head; (2) an employee and another person if the
employee has been instructed by the employee's department head to participate in said
communications; or, (3) a department head and other city personnel if the communication is
necessary to conduct City business and does not result in any unnecessary disclosure of any
employee's wages, salary, benefits or other terms or conditions of employment"
Section 2. Revision to City of Anna Personnel Policy Manual Section 10.02
Section 10.02 of the City of Anna Personnel Policy Manual is revised to add the following
language as subsection "(h)" of Section 10.02:
"(h) Receipts must be obtained for advance -funded expenses described under subsection (g)
and said receipts must be delivered to the employee's department head or the human resources
department within 10 days of obtaining said receipts."

The City Manager is hereby directed to make the above -referenced revisions to Sections 10.02
and 12.01 and to: (1) provide all City of Anna employees with a written copy of the revised City

of Anna Personnel Policy Manual; and (2) obtain each employee's signature for receipt of the
revised manual.
