RESOLUTION NO. 2009-07 -02
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS, NAMING
AN OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE COLLIN I GRAYSON COUNTY
MUNICIPAL ALLIANCE
WHEREAS, The Collin I Grayson County Municipal Alliance (CGMA) is an organization
of local governments whose purposes include: Identifying common concerns of its
members and pursuing solutions there to; working to resolve common physical
development needs and objectives; coordinating opportunities for better efficiency and
effectiveness by working together; and pursuing opportunities for improved quality of life
for local citizens and better local government through cooperation; and
WHEREAS, The City of Anna is a member of the Collin I Grayson County Municipal
Alliance; and
WHEREAS, Each member municipality shall be represented by the Mayor of the
respective City or by another member of the municipality's City Council or governing
body;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, THAT:
Section 1 The City Council hereby designates Mayor Darren R. Driskell as the Official
Representative of the City of Anna to the Collin I Grayson County Municipal Alliance.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 14th day of July, 2009.
