RESOLUTION NO. 2009-10-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT ON THE CITY'S BEHALF IN EXECUTING THE
AGREEMENT FOR SPECIAL EVENT RELATING TO 2009 FALL GLOW FEST
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to enter into a certain Agreement for Special Event
(the "Agreement") between the City and the Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce and
hereby authorizes the City Manager's execution of same as set forth herein.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of Agreement.
The City Council hereby approves the Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and
authorizes, ratifies and approves the City Manager's execution of same. The City
Manager and the City Attorney are hereby authorized to execute all documents in a
form approved by the City Attorney and to take all other actions necessary to finalize,
act under, and enforce the Agreement.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas this the 13th
day of October, 2009.
