RESOLUTION NO. 2009·12-03
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO ACT ON THE CITY'S BEHALF IN EXECUTING A TASK
ORDER FOR STREET ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH BIRKHOFF, HENDRICKS &
CONWAY, L.L.P.
WHEREAS, the City Council ("City Council") of the City of Anna, Texas ("City") desires
to approve and authorize the engagement of SIRKHOFF, HENDRICKS & CONWAY, LLP.
("SHC") to provide the services specifically described in the attached Task Order that is
attached hereto as Exhibit 1 and incorporated herein as if set forth in full; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the services of SHC under the
Agreement will benefit the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the City and the
general public in providing for public street engineeling services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that the Task Order between the City and SHC
be approved and the City Manager's execution of same should be authorized and
approved, as set forth herein.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of Task Order.
The City Council hereby approves the Task Order attached hereto as Exhibit 1, being
four pages in length, and authorizes and approves the City Manager's execution of
same. The City Manager and the City Attorney are hereby authorized to execute any
associated documents in a form approved by the City Attorney and to take all other
actions necessary to finalize, act under, and enforce the Task Order.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas this the 8th
day of December, 2009.
