RESOLUTION NO. 2011-07-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY O F ANNA, T E XAS, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO
AS "APPLICANT" DESIGNATING CERTAIN OFFICIALS AS BEING RESPONSmLE
FOR ACTING FOR AND O N BEHALF OF T HE" APPLICANT" IN DEALING WITH
COLLIN C OUNTY, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "COUNTY", FOR T HE
PURPOSE OF P ART ICIPATING IN T HE "COUNTY'S" PARK AND OPEN SPACE
GRANT PROGRAM, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE "PROGRAM";
CERTIFYING THAT THE "APPLICANT I S ELIGmLE TO RECEIVE PROGRAM
ASSISTANCE; CERTIFYING THAT THE "APPLIC ANT" MA TCHING SHARE IS
READILY A V AlLABLE; AND DEDICATING THE PROPOSED SITE FOR PUBLIC
RECREATIONAL USES.
WHEREAS, the "A ppli cant" is a municipality located in Collin County , Texas , and is fully
e ligible to recei ve as sistan ce under the "Program"; and
WHEREAS, the "Applicant" has a very seriou s nee d for park facilities and o pen space areas to
serve the residents of th e A nna area; and
WHEREAS, the "Ap plic ant" de sire s to partic ipate in the 'Program' ; and
WHEREAS, the "Appli cant" des ire s to authori ze an official to represe nt and act for the
"Applicant" dealing wi th th e "County" concernin g the "Pro gram"; now therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE "APPLICANT"
Section 1. That the "Appli cant" hereby certifi es th at it is a municipaJity lo cated in Collin
County, Texas , and is there by eligible to receive assistance under the "Program".
Section 2. That the "App licant" hereby certifies that the matching share for this application
is readi ly av ailable at tlus time.
Section 3. That the "Applicant" hereby auth orizes the C ity Manager to act for the
"Applicant" in dealing with the "County" and is hereby officiaUy designated as the representati ve
in this regard.
Section 4. That the "Applicant" hereby sp eci fically authorizes the official to make
applicati on to the "Co unty" concerning the site to be know n as North Slayter Creek Trail. The
North Slayter Creek Trail will be dedi cated fo r pub lic park and recreation purposes in perpetuity.
