A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, T E XAS, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS
"APPLICANT" DESIGNATING CERTAIN OFFICIALS AS BEING RESPONSffiLE FOR
ACTING FOR AND ON BEHALF OF THE" APPLICANT" IN DE ALING WITH C OLLIN
COUNTY, HEREINAFTER REFE RRED T O AS "COUNTY'" FOR THE PURPOSE OF
PARTICIPATING IN THE "C O UNTY'S" PARK AND OPEN SPACE GRANT PROGRAM,
HEREINAFTER REFE RRED T O AS THE "PROGRAM"; CERTIFYING THAT THE
"APPLIC ANT IS ELIGffiLE TO RECEIVE PROGRAM ASSISTANC E; CERTIFYING THAT
THE "APPLICANT" MATC HING SHARE I S READIL Y AVAILABL E; AND DEDICATING THE
PROPOSED SITE FOR PUBLIC REC REATIONAL USE S.
WHEREAS, th e "Ap pli cant" is a mu nicipa lity lo cated in Coll in C o unty , Texa s, and is fu Uy elig ible to
re ceive assi stance un de r the "Prog ram"; and
WHEREAS, the "Applicant" has a very serious need for park facilities and open space areas to serve th e
res idents of the Anna area; an d
WHEREAS, th e "Ap plicant" desires to pa rti ci pate in the "Program"; and
WHEREAS, the "Applic an t" des ires to au th or ize an offic ial to represent and act for th e "Applicant"
dealing w ith the 'County" c nc emin g the "Program"; no w th e refore
BE IT RES OLVED BY T HE "APPLICANT "
S ection 1. That the "A pplicant" here by certifies th at it is a municipality locate d in Collin County,
Texas , and is there by eli g ibl e to receive ass istance under th e "Program".
Sec tion 2. T hat th e "App licant" hereby certifies that the m atchin g share fo r this application is readily
av aiJ a ble at this ti me .
Section 3. Th at the "Applicant" hereby auth ori zes the City Manager to act for the "Applicant" in
dealin g with the "County" and is he reby offi c ia lly de si gn ate d as the representative in this regard .
Section 4. Th at the 'Applicant" be re by specific ally a ut horize s the official to make application to the
"County" conceroing the s ite to be kn own as South Sl ayter C reek Trajl. The South Slayter C reek Trail w i ll
be dedi cated for publi c park and recreation p urpo se s in perpetuity.
