RESOLUTION NO. 2011-08-06
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH UTILITY SERVICE
PARTNERS PRIVATE LABEL, INC. D/B/A SERVICE LINE WARRANTIES OF AMERICA
(USLWA") RELATED TO NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS
SERVICE LINE WARRANTY PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) AND Utility Service
Partners Private Label, Inc. ("USP") have entered into a Master Contract calling for USP to
provide line repair coverage to homeowners residing within the jurisdiction of the participating
cities for water lines and sewer lines as part of a protection program; and
WHEREAS, City of Anna, Texas (the "City") and NCTCOG have entered into an interlocal
agreement whereby NCTCOG has agreed to act as a facilitator with regard to the warranty
programs offered by USP to the of the City; and
WHEREAS, USP and the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City Council) desire to
enter into a Copyright License Agreement (the "Agreement") that describes the terms and
conditions under which USP is authorized to use the City's Logo in outlining the services that
will be offered to the citizens of Anna;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval and Authorization of the Copyright License Agreement.
The City Council hereby approves the Copyright License Agreement with USP attached
hereto as Exhibit 1 .
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 9th day of August, 2011.
