RESOLUTION NO. 2011-08-09
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS,
APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH WEBQA, INC. AN ONLING SHOP
LOCAL MARKETING PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that the Anna Community Development
Corporation and the Anna Economic Development Corporation on August 4.
2011 both passed a resolution authorizing the expenditure of promotional funds
to assist the City of Anna in promoting local businesses through the WebQA
program;
WHEREAS. the City Council of the City of Anna. Texas ("the City Council")
desires to execute a service contract between the City and WebQA, Inc. to
provide for promotion of local businesses through the City's website; and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that such services are in the best
interest of the marketing and promotion efforts of the City and will promote
economic development in the City of Anna; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals incorporated.
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth
in full.
Section 2. Authority to sign and execute the service contract.
The City Council of the City of Anna, Texas hereby approves the attached
Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A, and authorizes the City Manager to
execute same.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas. on this the 9th day of
August, 2011.
