RESOLUTION NO. 2011-10-06
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING A CONCEPT PLAN FOR
NORTH SLAYTER CREEK TRAIL AND SLAYTER CREEK PARK PHASE II
WHEREAS, The City of Anna, Texas (the "City ") has received grant funding commitments from
the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife and from Collin County to construct Phase II of
Slayter Creek Park , and to construct additions to the trail along North Slayter Creek ; and ,
WHEREAS , Staff is recommending that the City Council adopt a Concept Plan for Slayter
Creek Park , Phase II and for the trail improvements proposed along the northern section of
Slayter Creek ; and ,
WHEREAS, on October 17, 2011, the Parks Advisory Board reviewed the proposed Concept
Plan for said improvements;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. The City Council hereby approves the Concept Plan for Slayter Creek Park
Phase II and the North Slayter Creek Trail construction project attached hereto as EXHIBIT 1,
incorporated herein for all purposes .
