RESOLUTION NO. 2011-11-01
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING THE SALE OF A
VEHICLE TO THE CITY OF BELLS, TEXAS, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A BILL OF SALE REFLECTING THE CITY OF BELLS, TX
PURCHASE OF A 2005 FORD CROWN VICTORIA OWNED BY THE CITY OF ANNA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas ("City Council") finds that the City of
Anna owns a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN 2FAFP71W35X142214; .
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that City of Bells, Texas, a local governmental entity, wishes
to purchase this 2005 Ford Crown Victoria at the fair market price;
WHEREAS, Anna City staff has researched the value of the 2005 Ford Crown Victoria in
question and has reported to the City Council that the make, year, model, and the condition,
indicate a fair market value of approximately $1,600;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein for all purposes as if set forth in full.
Section 2. Approval of Purchase/Contract as Needed
The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to sell the 2005 Ford Crown Victoria, VIN
2FAFP71W35X142214, to the City of Bells, Texas, in exchange for payment of $1,600 by
executing a bill of sale and all paperwork related to this vehicle.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on this 8th
day of November, 2011.
