RESOLUTION NO. 2012-09-15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ACT ON THE CITY'S BEHALF IN EXECUTING CHANGE ORDER
NO. 1 FOR THE SLAYTER CREEK PARK, PHASE 11 PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anna, Texas (the City) has approved a contract with Parkscape
Construction Inc. (the "Contractor") for the construction of Slayter Creek Park, Phase II (the
"Project"); and,
WHEREAS, the City and the Contractor desire to amend the contract scope and price
through a change order to the construction contract;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANNA, TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated.
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval of Change Order.
The City Council hereby approves Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Parkscape
Construction Inc. attached hereto as Exhibit 1, and authorizes, ratifies and approves the
City Manager's execution of same. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute all
documents and to take all other actions necessary to finalize, act under, and enforce the
Change Order.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 25th day
of September 2012.

Contract changes are approved as follows:
Description of changes: Reduction in paved parking spaces (47 total) in proposed
north and east parking lots. Reduced sidewalk improvements around the concession
stand. Removal of 690 LF of cable barrier fence. Material changes on baseball
fencing and height. Removal of a proposed water meter.
Reason for Change Order: Removing proposed scope items to meet available
funding.
Attachments: Table summarizing the credits for value items and scope reductions.
