DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION ADVISORY COMMISSION MEETING

1. Call to Order, Roll Call, and Establishment of Quorum.
2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Neighbor's Input.
At this time, any person may address the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Commission
regarding an item on this meeting agenda that is not scheduled for public hearing. Also, at
this time any person may address the Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Commission
regarding an item that is not on this meeting agenda. Each person will be allowed up to 3
minutes to speak. No discussion or action may be taken at this meeting on items not listed
on this agenda, other than to make statements of specific information in response to a
citizen’s inquiry or to recite existing policy in response to the inquiry.
4. Reports. a. City Developments: human resources internal diversity, equity, and inclusion
training series. b. Police and Public Safety Subcommittee Report: July 21 meeting. c. Anna Community Library Task Force Report.
5. Items For Individual Consideration. a. Consider/Act/Discuss cultural events public input meeting.
b. Consider/Act/Discuss recommendations for updating dress code outlined in rules
and procedures for city meetings. c. August Conversation Starter: Diversity within the Hispanic Community in North
Texas.
d. Consider/Act/Discuss approval of the minutes from the July 7, 2022 Diversity and
Inclusion Advisory Commission meeting.
6. Adjourn.

the City’s website (www.annatexas.gov) and at a place readily accessible to the public at the Anna
