A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ANNA, TEXAS APPROVING THE INDEPENDENT BANK
ADDITION, BLOCK A, LOT 1 R, REPLAT.
WHEREAS, in order to provide for the orderly development of land within the Anna city limits
and extraterritorial jurisdiction, the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City Council")
has adopted Article 9.02 of the Anna City Code of Ordinances ("Subdivision Regulations'); and
Article 9.04 ("Zoning Ordinance") of the Anna City Code of Ordinances; and
WHEREAS, Anna Economic Development corporation and Anna Community Development
Corporation has submitted an application for the approval of the Independent Bank Addition,
Block A, Lot 1 R, Replat;
WHEREAS, Independent Bank Addition, Block A, Lot 1 R, Replat conforms to the existing
zoning;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS, THAT:
Section 1. Recitals Incorporated
The recitals above are incorporated herein as if set forth in full for all purposes.
Section 2. Approval of Final Plat
The City Council hereby approves the Independent Bank Addition, Block A, Lot 1R, Replat
attached hereto as Exhibit A subject to additions and/or alterations to the engineering plans as
required by the Public Works Department.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas, on this 8th day of
November. 2022.

Hi Carrie,
After the Replat was filed at the County a week ago, I was contacted by Elliot Bendsend at the Appraisal District. He
informed me that of the three copies that received filing stickers:
1 did not have any signatures or city seal at all
1 had the incorrect date of Mayor's signature (had 2023 instead of 2022)
1 had everything perfect
Unfortunately, the one that had the wrong year is what was kept by the County and given to the Appraisal District.
When I advised Elliot that we had the perfect one and asked him if I could just scan it and send it to him for correction, e
advised me that I could not do that because the perfect one we had, said "COPY" on it. Not the actual "FILED" stamp. So
I was advised that we should refile the corrected copies.
Please let me know if that helps and if there is anything I can do to assist.

Said plot has the following scrivener's errors:
1. In the Certificate of Approval, the approval date by the City Council of the City of Anna shows to
be "Bth Day of November. 2023".
2. In the title block in the lower right hand comer, the abstract map shows to be D.E.W. Babb Survey,
Abstract No. 33.
Said plot shall be corrected as follows:
1. In the Certificate of Approval, the approval date by the City Council of the City of Anna should
read "8th Day of November, 2022".
2. In the title block in the lower right hand comer, the abstract map should read Henry Brantley Survey,
Abstract No. 71.
