A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANNA, TEXAS ADOPTING A NEW CITY SEAL; AND
OTHER NATTERS IN CONNECTION THEREWITH
WHEREAS, the City Council (the "Council") of the City of Anna, Texas (the "City") has determined
to adopt a new seal for the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANNA,
TEXAS:
SECTION 'I: Pursuant to Section 3.15(a) of the City Charter, the City Council hereby adopts the
seal set forth on Exhibit "A" (the "New City Seal") as the seal of the City. The New Seal may be
stamped on any document requiring or permitting the seal of the City to be affixed thereto.
SECTION 2: The recitals contained in the preamble hereof are hereby found to be true, and such
recitals are hereby made a part of this Resolution for all purposes and are adopted as a part of
the judgment and findings of the Council.
SECTION 3: All resolutions, or parts thereof, which are in conflict or inconsistent with any
provision of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict, and the provision
of this Resolution shall be and remain controlling as to the matters resolved herein.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall be in force and effect from and after its final passage, and it is
so resolved.
PASSED AND APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Anna, Texas on thisrday
of 2022.
