ANNA PARKS ADVISORY BOARD MEETING

The Parks Advisory Board of the City of Anna will meet at 6:00 PM, on December 19, 2022,
at the Anna City Hall, Located at 111 North Powell Parkway (Hwy 5), to consider the
following items below.
1. Call to Order, Roll Call, and Establishment of Quorum.
2. Invocation and Pledge of Allegiance.
3. Neighbor Input:
At this time, any person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item on
this meeting agenda that is not scheduled for public hearing. Also, at this time any
person may address the Parks Advisory Board regarding an item that is not on this
meeting agenda. Each person will be allowed up to 3 minutes to speak. No discussion
or action may be taken at this meeting on items not listed on this agenda, other than to
make statements of specific information in response to a citizen’s inquiry or to recite
existing policy in response to the inquiry.
4. Receive a Report
a. Receive a report on park maintenance (Parks Superintendent Matt Lewis). b. Receive a report on recreation programs and events (Assistant Director of
Neighborhood Services Jeff Freeth).
5. Project Update. a. Receive an update on the following active and approved Parks Capital Projects
(Park Planning and Development Manager Dalan Walker):
Henry Clay "Yank" Washington Park Phase 2 Improvements
Slayter Creek Park Parking Lot Expansion, Practice Field Lighting,
Pickleball and Basketball Courts, Wheeled Sports Park, Fitness Station,
Restroom and Splash Pad
Natural Springs Park Secondary Parking Lot
Johnson Park Ballfield Lights
Trails
Sports Complex
Bryant Park Practice Fields
6. Individual Consideration
a. Discuss, Consider, Act on Parks Advisory Board meeting minutes on November
21st, 2022.

b. Discuss any additional ideas for "Telling our Story" and communication
opportunities.
c. Discuss the Project Advocate Community/Recreation Center Project Kickoff.
